Below are some reading materials that we use and recommend for study and reference.

 

The King James Version of the Bible

Given the KJV's archaisms and outdated syntax, many understandably prefer more modern translations of Scripture. Spirit-and-Truth, however, considers the "limitations" of this version an invitation to examine carefully every word--an open opportunity, in other words, to run references, consult older dictionaries and other sources, in pursuit of Truth. It is one of few versions, in our experience, which you can pick up, read the same verse on 2 different days, and on the second day find a deeper meaning.  Scriptural references in this site are from the KJV.

 

The Book of Daniel

This is an excellent work for end-time prophecy research. 

 

The Book of Revelation

Seen as the 70th week of Daniel, this is also an excellent work for end-time prophecy research. 

 

Dispensational Truth

 This is a collection of maps, charts, and commentary covering the entire scope of the Bible.

 

Apocalypse                                       

James A. Seiss, 1865

 This four-volume commentary on the book of Revelation gives tremendous insight to the future of the human race.

 

Before the Foundation of the World   

G. T. Haywood, 1923

This is an interesting and enlightening view of the creative week, explaining the possible length of each of the days.

 

The Latter Rain Covenant and Pentecostal Power                           

D. Wesley Myland, 1910

This work is an eyewitness account of the Azusa Street revival period.

 

Charting the End Times                            

Tim LaHaye, 2002

A recent work from the point of view of pre-tribulation rapture of the Church. 

 

The Discovery of Genesis                

C. H. Kang and Ethel Nelson, 1979

This work is a second witness of the Bible account of creation.
